Rise In Domestic Violence During Lockdown

India and the world is seeing a rise in the number of domestic violence cases. With no where to find safety, locked up in their homes, women from different walks of life are going through abuse and while it seems like the world is shut down and there is no one to hear their cries, it is not so, there are people that care and there are places that help women in distress. Poetry is an art form that helps me express my thoughts and opinions.
The poem tries to give hope to the many many women who have gone through domestic abuse.
